Changing sub-site domain breaks login

    Hello. I have a WordPress network, oit-test.drake.edu, with 2 sub-sites: bot and sjmc. From the Network Admin -> Sites page I edited the 2 sub-sites and changed their domain as follows:

    • bot.oit-test.drake.edu changed to bot-test.drake.edu
    • sjmc.oit-test.drake.edu changed to sjmc-test.drake.edu

    Then i used searchreplacedb2.php to replace “bot.oit-test” with “bot-test” and “sjmc.oit-test” with “sjmc-test”.

    The main network site (oit-test) works just fine. Sub-sites display just fine and internal links seem fine. But, login to sub-sites is broken: when i put in username/password it just takes me back to the login page. Even if i login to the network as a superadmin, if i try to go to a sub-site’s dashboard, it just goes to the sub-site’s login page.

    Per some recommendations found in the forums I tried clearing my cache and cookies, and even restarting the browser. Login to the sub-sites still doesn’t work. Any ideas?
