[Plugin: Events Manager] 404 error on events

    Please help.

    I am using WordPress 3.1, Events Manager 5.1.3. My URL is beardsleyzoocalendar.onthemarkgroup.com.

    Love the Plugin but absolutely have to have my events pages/posts working. Have messed with my permalinks over and over. Nothing seems to help. Have changed theme to default, doesn’t help. Still always with the 404 error. I am at my wits end. Everything is otherwise beautiful and I definitely want to use this script but I have to have information on my events.

    Please help.

    can you try these things:

    1. try to re-save permalinks @ WP Settings > Permalinks
    2. deactivate and activate EM while other plugins are deactivated. This is to test a conflicting plugin.

    Hi:

    I have no other plugins activated for my WordPress except for EM, but tried this anyway. Didn’t work.

    Have resaved the permalinks via WP Settings about eighteen times and that still didn’t work.

    No clue what to do at this point.

    can you try to turn-on WP_DEBUG to see if there’s any other error?

    When I did the WP-DEBUG it completely broke the wordpress install (I use 1 and 1 web hosting) and I had to reinstall it.

    That was the final straw. I installed a different plug in for my calendar, which worked great out of the box, and that’s that. Very frustrating that this is a well known bug that needs such higher level fixes to work.
