[Plugin: CataBlog] Image transparency (PNG) not preserved

    Hi all,
    I’m having issues with transparent png’s – all thumbnails are converted to PNG’s without an alpha channel – the transparent background is converted to white / black.

    The Thumbnail options don’t allow a transparent background, a background color is automatically set.

    I’ve exported the PNG from Photoshop with 24 Bit, unfortunately this didnt help.

    Is there anything else I can do to solve this ?
    I’m using catablog vs 1.4.4 and wordpress 3.3.1

    CataBlog turns all thumbnails into JPG images, which unfortunately do not support alpha channels. You can change the background color with the thumbnail options.
