Fatal error installing Events Manager

    I deactivated all plugins before I even try to activate Events Manager from the plugins menu i get the following.

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare dbem_debug_mode() (previously declared in /hsphere/local/home/c334204/cookingwithkidsmiami.com/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/events-manager.php:46) in /hsphere/local/home/c334204/cookingwithkidsmiami.com/wp-content/plugins/REMOVE-events-manager/events-manager.php on line 53

    Looks like there are problems with the plugin using ftp you can delete or rename the plugin try Rsvpmaker plugin see if this plugin works for your event manager

    Do you have another instance of Events Manager? e.g. /hsphere/local/home/c334204/cookingwithkidsmiami.com/wp-content/plugins/REMOVE-events-manager/events-manager.php

    can you try to delete that?

    yes, remove the REMOVE-events-manager folder
