Uploading Media

I have a multi site install that i converted from a single site. If I create a new site uploading images works no problem at all but if I try to upload images on main site the images aren’t there. The filename shows in the gallery but the image itself doesn’t.

It’s only the main site that doesn’t work. All the images that were in the site before I converted to multisite are still there and visible
