Image Upload Hangs

    The Media Uploader continuously hangs. Sometimes one image will upload and then it hangs. Sometimes it shows 100% on the status bar and then just hangs. Very frustrating. Could not find another post with an answer.

    I’m using the default WP uploader with 3.3.1. File size is very small (100K). Using Safari browser.

    Help!

    Safari on what OS? Try a different browser first.

    I had the same issue with a flickr media library plugin. Could not get the image uploader to work at all until I disabled the plugin.

    Take a quick thought as to if you have added or updated any plugins since the last time you are certain it was working correctly and start by disabling those and see if it comes back.

    Hopefully its something more along the lines of your browser like @swansonphotos posted above.

    It could be possible that the files are not transferring because you do not have write priveledges on your ‘uploads’ folder on your server.
