• Greetings. I am using WordPress on the following site: http://the-generation.net/

    Two questions:

    1) You will see under the articles that there is preview text. Right now there this text is just the first few lines of the article. Is there a plugin or CSS workaround that I can use to either a) create a place where I can put in my own preview text or b) turn off the preview text entirely? My old blog used to have this, but the template for this site does not.

    2) Is there a way to disable the need for visitors to input their e-mail addresses to make comments? The box under Discussion that reads “Comment author must fill out name and e-mail” is unchecked. But I’m hearing that you need to register it anyway. Thoughts on how to fix this?

    Thank you.

  • that depends on the theme really. there is the excerpt and the more quicktag

    2) users do not have to type an email it’s optional.
