• Well first of all forgive me I am pretty new to the community+ WP. I am building a WP site for a friend. I am using latest update 3.3.1 and the original theme (for now).

As I put together a page everything is as normal with the exception of the update page/post box that I am used to seeing. So I am unable to update page changes/posts. A big problem!

I have set the screen options for two column and all of the checkboxes (show on screen) are checked. I can see the meta/dialog box that normally has all of the update/save buttons etc. I just have no content in that box (i.e. no update/save buttons)! It is just showing up with the dotted lines around it but the contents appear to be invisible.

I’ve cleared cache. Running on Mac with Safari and Firefox with latest updates.

I have to believe there is some simple solution that I am missing. Please help 🙂

  • I have checked a few of the similar entries and I haven’t found anything useful.

On my end, I see that something is happening where only my computer (with ALL of its browsers have this particular problem) and yet another computer is not.

So it is apparently a problem that exists only on my computer… but how to locate the cause?!
