Seems like this has had to have been talked about a whole bunch But I’ve searched and searched. I could use a plugin but I would rather not because I know WP can handle this on its own. I don’t know PHP well at all ; (

Anyhow, I would like to fetch my recent post (say 5) with title, excerpt and attachment. I can do one or the other or even two but not all three. I need the title to permalink and a ream more permalink. The look Im going for is basically what you see in this theme in the recent music relationships and fitness sections http://demo.studiopress.com/lifestyle/

Any help would be great!
