[Plugin: Viper's Video Quicktags] Embedding mp4 files

Using Safari on OSX Lion, and trying to get an mp4 file to embed using the [FLV]. The mp4 in question was uploaded after being converted. I can get flv to work fine, but wanted to try mp4 because I do not have to do a conversion to get there, and I wanted something that would full screen at 720p for detail.

When I try to use mp4 or fly encoded as h.264, the player just shows a big blank. Nothing there. I’ve tried every combination that I know of, and feel that I must be missing something at this point, because every other example I’ve seen of this plugin uses mp4.

Anyone know why I’m getting a big blank for a video?
