Adding a category to a post

    I’m trying to implement a favourite entries category/page, this is how I’m trying to do it:

    Click on a link to mark entry as favourite -> link adds entry to a specfied category

    I’m completely stumped on how to do this so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    And I’m completely stumped on what you are looking for. Are you trying to assign posts to categories, or links to a specific category or Page?

    Can you be more specific and we’ll try to help you better?

    I’m trying to assign a post to a specified category by using a hyperlink instead of the tick boxes in the WP-admin post options.

    Hopefully that’s a clearer way of putting it.
