Page Anchors

Does anyone know of a way to have a page anchor “shift” up about 20 pixels after the anchor link is clicked.

For example, when I click an anchor link (same page or external page), when the content is displayed, it is just below the anchor link.

So, if I have a title of “Heading One”, and make that the anchor. Then link to it from somewhere else… The page is displayed JUST below the title “Heading One”.

I would prefer to see “Heading One” after clicking the link… not the content just below it.

So, I’m hoping there is a way to “shift” the linked page up about 20 pixels.

I think this is similar to the “read more” linking to the content just below where the button is inserted. I know there is a function to override this and link to the top of the page.

Is there something similar for link anchors??
