Hi I have posted before and received AMAZING help from Tim S I so wish I could find him again:) I have just uploaded my wp file to my root folder on my domain site but have no clue what to do now. when I go to my Cpanel and click on the folder it is there, so I think I did that part right. Have no idea where to go next. Like I said earlier, I need to be spoonfed! not a joke! if anyone could help I would so appreciate it!!!!

You need to create a database by clicking Mysql database wizard in your cpanel assign user to database and keep a copy of names.
Just open your url and follow install program you can see video on my website how to manually install wordpress under video tutorials click on my name.

Thank you so much for responding As i said previously, I really know nothing about this. I did create a data base in the cpanel but I have no clue where to go from here to open it or whatever step is next

If you have created Database in cpanel all you need to do is go to your url in address bar and the install program should open.

It doesnt 🙁 I know its there when I open the folder in the c panel it shows the word press files

Where in cpanel did you upload wordpress in root or a folder.
If you browse to public_html folder what do see there.

that is your cpanel url not that you should have something like http://yourdomainname.com

I just saw that I cancelled it with them and am using blu domain so I am online with them now when they fix it what do i do next

now it is working with fat cow but the name server bludomain gave me does not work it says it is not a valid nameserver. I am so frustrated with bludaomain of course they have no customer service available there.
