Help with Menu Bar

I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to fix this problem. I am using the custom menu to display “CATEGORIES” in a widget on the side bar but the alignment is wrong (The Main categories are to the right and each sub category goes further and further right) and I don’t know how to fix it. In addition, it keeps inserting lines below the categories that make it look messy.. I’ve tried looking through WP but most of the answers or advice seems like Greek to me. Any ideas?

Or a plugin suggestion that would fix the problem without coding?
