Suggestions theme with "index feature?

Hi.

I’m looking to do a website that indexes all schools in my country.

I just don’t know where to start. I know simple HTML, but I’m not a programmer.

Does anybody know a good theme for this?

It should be this easy:

You should be able to choose from a list, where the schools is divided by city and postal code.

You should also be able to enter your zip-code, area, type etc., and the schools in your area should pop up.

I have all the address information in an excel spreadsheet, which is ready to be imported.
