• Hi,

I am designing my first e commerce site with wp e-commerce. My problem is, that I installed the simple shipping plugin, ind I set on fix rate shipping. After the I go to the front end, and buy something, click on the purhchase, and i see my cart, with the details. I can see the two options i set for fix rate. But the problem is that above the shipping options there is a sentence that wouldnt be there: “Please choose a country below to calculate your shipping costs”. But I set fixed rate shipping so this sign wouldnt be there. How can i delete it?

    Thank you very much

  • Can you provide us with a URL to the page so we can look at the code?

    Hi,

    Thank you for fast answer!

Sorry, I cant send url, because I am testing it on localhost.

While, I dont have much experience with the plugin specifically, I did a quick Google search for it. It sounds like you have a setting configured incorrectly since the plugin claims to have the ability built in. This is the page I read up on:

I install it several time, but this message displays every time: “Please choose a country below to calculate your shipping costs” but i choosed the fixed rate option.

I try it too, that from the wpsc-shopping_cart_page.php delete this
    ” <td colspan=”5″>
<?php _e(‘Please choose a country below to calculate your shipping costs’, ‘wpsc’); ?>
</td>” but when i save it, and refresh the front end, it is still there. I deleted the cache from the browser too, but still there.
I dont know what is the problem.

I doubt it has something to do with the installation but how you have configured the products and shipping.

    Hi,

I looked everything on the products and shipping, but good. As I can see, other webshops use it too, but it is very irritating when use just 1 country.

But thank you very much for your helping.
I am going on the trying
