• Until yesterday, readers could post comments without problem. Now, suddenly, after the CAPTCHA Code is typed and submitted, this error message appears:

Thank you for your comment!. Your comment has been temporary held by our antispam system for moderation.
Site administration has been notified and will approve your comment after review.
    Do not re-submit your comment!

The Comment however does not appear in my system– so how would I approve it? Also, I do not screen or moderate Comments. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks.

    Hi Marina,

There are several possible causes for this. In my case the anti-spam plugin (“Antispam for all fields”) I was using blocked almost everything, so I changed to another plugin. I’m now using “Akismet” (plus “SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam”) which is working quite well.

Alternatively, you might try checking your plugin’s block list. But I would recommend checking out Akismet. You can see how the two plugins work on my website: VoiceOfBaltimore.org

    Good luck,

    AL

    Thanks, Al. Much appreciated!
