You don’t want to do that. The actual media file is supposed to be in a special tag in your RSS feed called <enclosure … /> The <link> should go to an HTML page, which ties episode show notes to a web link of your episode. I’ve seen some folks hand code feeds and put media in the link field, but you’ll end up loosing web traffic to your site with the change and it will also mean that when folks click on the link they get an unexpected media file thrown up in their default media player. These links come off podcast directories like iTunes.
