  • this sounds pretty much like what I experienced but I did not get an error message but a “you cannot access this dashboard” message

    Hi,
first of all backup your site files using ftp; then you can try to reinstall wp-admin, download wordpress from here unzip it and upload wp-admin.
This issue might be caused by some plugins also so you can disable all your plugins by renaming the plugins directory from wp-content or by changing the value of active_plugins from wp_options in the database (I would recommend this way…).
I checked my wodpress install and I have no wp_menu_unfold() function and no call for it… this way I’m guessing it’s an extension that cased this issue, so switching to the default wordpress theme may also help!
    Regards
