[Plugin: WPBook] Permissions Issue – FB Timeline

    Using WPBook 2.3.3 and FB has changed my profile to the new timeline view. Whenever I click “Checking permissions” I’m taken to my app page. Trying to post to my wall instead. Under wall options I have the Publish new posts to YOURFacebook Wall checked. When I click the “Checking permissions” link here still goes to the app. Is there anyway to add and app to my fb account and grant the permissions there? Posts are going to the app just not my wall where I need them. Thanks in advance.

    So when you click on Checking Permissions, you should be taken to a page inside Facebook, which is actually displaying a WordPress page which lists what permissions you have or have not granted. (note the url passes in ?is_permissions=true – that should be picked up by WordPress).

    It should not be a list of blog posts, but a page instead shown only to you as the admin listing what permissions have been granted for your Facebook ID.

    If that’s not happening you have a settings error somewhere.

    Whether your profile is in timeline or not should not matter – my profile is in timeline view but my check permissions page still works.
