popup comments error

i don’t know what happened because my comments were working but all of a sudden i started getting this error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /usr/home/salomeya/public_html/wp-comments-popup.php on line 82

i did change some formatting on the comments page and i didn’t add any $ things..

like 82 is the last line of the coding, which is just:

?>

there are no $ things.. so i don’t really understand the problem.

i put my whole code on this page so you can check it for errors. it’s probably really messily done because i’m not too good at editing wordpress stuff 😛
