password username incorrect

    i am new at this.. i am trying to log in but it says that the username and password are incorrect i already made a account on wordpress.com and wordpress.org forums, and set all passwords and usernames in dream host but it do sent work and wen i try to type my mail address it says that there no account under that email address

    The username and passwords on your self-hosted WordPress site are not related to your wordpress.com/.org accounts, or any of your dreamhost credentials.

    how do i create this username and password i don’t see the options for it

    You are first asked when you install WordPress onto your site. If you have forgotten it, follow the instructions on the Codex page in my previous post to reset the password.

    yes i saw that but were is the ‘Admin Panel menu’ i cant open wordpress at all…

    even wen i typed all my email addresses to recover the password it says that email is not in the database

    Since you can’t get in, you’ll have to try some of the other methods, including those which involve editing the database entry directly.

    Hi joerod7,

    Can you provide us a URL to your site you are trying to access? You mentioned wordpress.com and the wordpress.org forums but those are unrelated to your self hosted installation of WordPress.
