[Plugin: Events Manager] modifing the event search function

I’m looking to simplify the event search options on top of the events list page. I want to be able to disable the options to search by location (so people can just search by event name, event date and event category).

Can someone point me to a simple way to do this?

The event list runs to almost 200 events, so a search function would be very useful for visitors. http://www.irishtriathlon.com/index.php/race-calendar/event-detail/
