Use Advanced XML Reader in template

Hi

First of all thanks for this great plugin.

Works great in post and pages using [advanced-xml:xmlfile],
But how do i use it in template files.

I’ve tried with:
<?php echo do_shortcode("[advanced-xml:xmlfile]");?>

but it only displays [advanced-xml:xmlfile] an not the xml output??
