Database moved but have problems

    Have just moved my WordPress database to a new server and edited wp-config to reflect the move. The site is accessable but I seem to be having some problems with some of the images not displaying when they’re clicked on – using Lightbox 1.6.1

    The photos in the first post display okay but the next post they don’t.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I see images on all posts, if you do not, clear your browser cache.

    Thanks for the reply. Sorry I should have said that all images are displaying, it’s just when you click on them to enlarge them that they seem to hang, especially in the second post.

    Go in your dashboard and try resetting your permalinks. I hope this helps!

    Oh, well that is because LighBox is likely loading all the images in the show at once, they are large and that takes time depending on connection speeds, what else is going on on your server and your pc, etc…

    But this wasn’t an issue before I moved the database.

    Also check the shortcode used in the posts…most seem ok, the last two on first page not…

    Look at the link structure when you hover over the images. They’re compeltely different between posts. I’d try resetting the permalinks. Let me know if this helps!

    Dumb question – how do I reset the permalinks? I can see options to change them but not to reset. Is it just a matter of changing them and then changing them back?
