This version of the plugin only deletes a certain number of custom fields each time it is run. That is why the field still shows up in the list. Look for version 0.2 today which should delete every instance of a custom field, as expected.
from where can i download the 0.2 version? i can only find the 0.1 from wordpress

it didnt work :/
it took like 2 seconds before it loaded the new page and i still can see the blr_date on the custom field like on this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/RSKju.jpg
when i go to the “writing post” ill still see this custom field added to all my posts: http://i.imgur.com/zCR1M.jpg
bump, any other idea on how to get rid of that custom field thats being added for some reason to all my posts?

This happens with ALL the custom fields. Im running wordpress 3.1
What browser are you using?
I tested with firefox 4, IE 9 and chrome. showing the same thing on all browsers
I updated the plugin to avoid possible browser issues submitting the form.

Any idea what could cause this?
When you get the error “no posts were found” that means that even though the custom field exists in the database, a WordPress query did not return any results. Without knowing more about your setup it might be hard to debug. Are these standard posts or are they a custom post type? Are these posts published or do they have another post status?

heres the story behind the custom field that just wont go away (pasted it from another forum post)!
Does anyone know how to permanently delete CUSTOM FIELDS caused by the broken link remover plugin?? i had a plugin (broken link remover) back in 2009 and i deactivated it and then deleted it 2 months later, but its still in the custom fields section and its STILL ADDING custom fields forms to all my posts. And they are all added the date from 2009 (WTF?). Does anyone know how i can remove this so that it stops adding these custom fields forms????

These custom fields are added to all my posts. The custom field is added when i write the post, that means BEFORE they have been published, and they are still there after i publish the post
