Unwanted Line breaks

    WordPress is inserting a {br /} whenever it hits a new line in my inputted text – this is causing a slight problem in my {pre} elements as I get an extra line break.
    Is there anyway to turn off the autoinsertation of line breaks?

    I have the same problem. Has this really been going on for three years and nobody’s responded to it? I’ve turned of the WYSIWYG editor and it doesn’t help.
