[Plugin-unknown]Set category thumbnail and display it into posts

Hi, can anyone help me solve the following matter?

I want to be able to set a thumbnail for the categories I have and display a small thumbnail at the beginning of each post for a particular category.

In other words, imagine that I have a category called food. I want to set a jpg for this particular category. Next, I want to automatically place this thumbnail at the beginning of each post (float:left) that is in the food category.

Is there any plugin / code chance that will allow this?
