How Do I Hide A Plugin Settings Page?

    I am currently writing a custom (private) plugin that I will be installing on a handful of client installs. I need to include a plugin settings page but I don’t want to include it on the admin menu. In other words I want it to only be accessible by URL.

    It seems as if every hook to add a settings page also adds a menu option. Does anyone have any ideas?
