Thanks but I already have that installed. (contact form 7). It’s given us the code to use, but using firebug, I can’t seem to replace the search menu that’s there.
Can anyone tell me where to place the code [contact-form-7 id=”83″ title=”Contact form 1″] so it replaces the menu that’s there already?
Log into WordPress wp-admin and open Contact,
you see a brown code, like this:
[contact-form-7 id=”152″ title=”Contact form 1″]
copy that
now, you can paste that into your post or a widget an a sidebar
But where do I paste it to remove the quick contact thing on the side? I’ve done it in firebug but it’s not working.
I’m not an expert by the way
i copy and paste that code on my footer side and it is working..

can i see your website?
yeah its http://dominic.villaclarissa.com/wordpress/ . I cant seem to be able to replace the quick contact search menu with a simple form
The problem is, the man wants it to replace the part on the right where it says quick contact because the site wont feature that kind of thing. So he wants the contact form to be there when the site opens.
will it be able to fit in with the background though?
+ it doesnt say how to install it. I’d have thought it wouldn’t be too difficult to just replace the drop down options with an open ended, and the search for a property button to be changed to a send. Is this possible?
RIght I’ve now added a widget to every page but index. How do I make it so the widget goes in the homepage instead of the quick contact?
