AddHandler fastcgi problems

I have theme from elegantthemes.com and I need this code to actually see my content on my site. I talked with my Dreamhost.com account people they told me that I might need to do something in the php.ini file that needs this or doesn’t so I’m asking do you know anything about this, I’m so lost.

in my htaccess, and my site worked like a few hours ago now it just stopped
