Update post modified date and display it?

    Hi, is there a way you can update the post modified date besides actually updating the post? If I want to make slight changes, I don’t want to let everyone know when I list my posts in order of modified date?

    Hi alxvallejo,

    The only way I can suggest would be to edit the post_modified field in your wp_posts table through phpMyAdmin. I’m not sure that would be any easier than quick editing the post and changing the date.
