JW Player for WordPress popup window

Hi guys

I’ve looked at basically every “popup” thread in the JW Player / Longtail forum, in the WordPress forum, and all over Google but there isn’t a definitive example for WordPress. Or one for the “code challenged” like myself *lol*

I’m using the JW Player for WordPress plugin.

I manage to open a new window, but of course this is the whole page with the player in it.

But no matter what I’ve tried, I can’t get just a popup to open with the player only. (and the playlist)

I want an old skool pop up window, not a lightbox type one as I want the player to continue playing whilst people surf around the website.

If someone can please provide example code simply I’d greatly appreciate it. I tried working off the JW Player pop up demo but I got totally confuzzed 🙁
