[Plugin: WPBook] Granting permissions fails

    Hi,

    I’v just installed WPBOOK but I have trouble with granting permissions. When I click on “checking permissions” (with debug mode activated) :

    This page is where you can check and grant extended permissions, which enable WPBook to publish to your personal wall and/or to the walls of fan pages.

    The Facebook profile ID you are currently logged in to Facebook as is 790177377. You have defined 790177377 as your Facebook user id in WPBook Settings.

    FB profile 790177377 has granted these permissions:

    Caught exception in getting permissions for user: SSL connection timeoutError code: 28

    I search for two hours on Google but couldn’t fix it.

    Could you help me please ?

    This is happening because you don’t have your blog enabled for SSL, so Facebook is failing trying to connect to it over HTTPS.

    This is a requirement per Facebook as of 10/1/2011.

    If you can’t make your blog accessible via https you’ll have to use WPBook Lite or one of the other competing FB cross-post plugins
