static page settings with WAMP

    I am trying to set my index.php as my front page and my blog.php to posts page.

    I am doing this by going to settings > Reading Settings and choosing static page.

    when i try and view my front page it is my index page, but the problem is if i view my blog page it displays index.php also.

    I am using WAMP locally, any advice please?
