Most Rating plugins work fine on MultiSite, you just have to activate them per site. GD Star Rating worked fine for me on MultiSite.

GD Star Rating only show (+) (-) rating under main site posts. 🙁
So turn it on for all your sites.
You won’t get a ‘ratings for all my sites!’ options. Remember, WordPress multisite creates multiple separate blogs. While you certainly can turn on a ratings plugin per site, the ‘grading’ isn’t aggregated to all your sites. It remains per site. This is by design.

Don’t network activate it. Activate it separately for each site.
Ipstenu – individual site activation, and not network activation, worked perfect for me.
Multisite WP 3.3.1 with Lesterchan’s WP-PostRatings 1.6.2.
