Hi nemothefish,
That is quite odd. I suspect something is going on with either a plugin or the theme. When I viewed your page using Firebug (in either Firefox or Chrome) I noticed there’s a near duplication of the link to the image:
http://www.chaplaincy.ie/wp-content/plugins/verve-meta-boxes/tools/timthumb.php?src=http://www.chaplaincy.ie/wp-content/uploads/dit_crest_20101.gif&w=100&zc=1&q=95
I would suggest switching to the default theme and disabling all plugins to see if one of these could be causing the issue. You can try switching back to your current theme and enabling plugins one at a time to identify which plugin (or combination of plugins) may be causing the issue.
Hope this helps!
Hi ChristNi
The thing is I have tryed to manually edit the file that generates that line of code but to no avail… I have also tryed disabling each one in turn… But I will try it with the original theme
Thanks

Hi I have tried what you suggested.. but to no avail…
Hello again nemothefish,
I installed both of these plugins to test and I was able to pull an image in to a custom post. There is a setting somewhere that isn’t quite correct. Looking again at the image source, notice this piece here:
&w=100&zc=1&q=95
I do not zc as a parameter allowed in TimThumb. I found these links regarding TimThumb that should be helpful:

Let me know if this helps you to resolve this issue.
Hi ChristiNi
There seems to be a further problem… when I go into the php file where the code above is called… any changes I make are not reflected on the site… this happens both in FTP and through the admin panel…
Oh man I’m very confused with this entire thing..
could we talk over PM?

Hi
The issue has been resolved… the timthumb.php was missing from the first part of the URL…
Doh…
Thanks again for all of your help
