Does wordpress track new blogs created with it?

    I created a blog with word press and have not yet released it. In fact I have disabled the folder from our site search function. Somehow, someone else is already linking to my site. I have told no one, and I have not linked to it anywhere. Does wordpress send keep a log of each new blog created with it? I didn’t think so, but I can’t figure out how my blog was found… Thank so much for the help. (by the way, I really think word press rules)

    Under options-> writing, there is a textfield which contains a list of services which are automatically pinged when an entry is posted.

    Pingomatic should be in that list which, when alerted, will notify the other publication sites.

    If you don’t want these sites to be alerted, clear the whole box.

    Thanks for the info! I’ve removed the link to ping-o-matic until I’m ready to go live.
