Custom maintenance page – multi site install

Hi,

I’m using a custom maintenance page on a single install of WordPress using the maintenance.php file in the wp-content directory.

Now I’m trying to figure out how to do the same in a multi site installation but as there is only one wp-content directory but several sits I’m wondering how it’s done.

I can’t find any information on it anywhere so if anyone got any ideas please share them 🙂
