• hi,

i activated the option that users have to login in order to be able to comment. when i now try to make a comment, there is a text saying that one has to log in to do a comment. so far so good. clicking on the provided link brings you to the login form. but after the log in you get in to the menu and not to the comment form. if you go back to the post you want to comment on, the link and text to the login form is still shown. from my understanding after the successful login i should see the article i wanted to comment on and the comment form, so i can enter my comment.
is that the way it should be or am i doing something wrong ?

in the menu where i get after logging in i can’t find an option for commenting the article.

    cheers
    martin

No, once you login, you should be taken to the admin menu, then a cookie should be set which should store your login ID. After that, you’ll have to manually navigate back to the post that you originally wanted to comment on, but the cookie should store your ID for at least a month. So, either the cookie isn’t being set, or you have a blank user set. Go to the “Users” tab and check for any blank users. If you find any, delete them ASAP.
