Tables in WP page editor

Hi all, quick question, I was looking for a way to add tables through the wordpress page editor. Since this option is not available from the kitchen sink options menu-tab, I decided to use html-tab to manually draw the table which works. However when I update and view page, all tables are centered on the live browser. Ive tried putting alignment tags around the table and that does not work. Any help much welcome.
