Getting error while installing theme Error

    This is the error am getting while installing the theme, help me pls!!

    Is Readily_v1.2 a theme that you bought if so you will need unzip and find theme folder and upload that to your wp-content/themes folder

    Sir i’ve tried that to, am getting the same error and i trie installing some 50 themes 🙁 same error!!! 🙁

    I came back to revise my site after a year of not being in the Dashboard area of the site. Was trying to look at some new looks and some how messed up the site. this is the message i am now seeing on the site.
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: add_custom_background() in /home/mlkha3/public_html/home/wp-content/themes/brightpage/functions.php on line 77

    Can someone help me?

    using ftp rename brightpage theme to say brightpage-hold so that default theme opens

    like govpatel said, use FTP. or your host’s control panel.

    do you know what version wordpress you are using since you have not been on dashboard fro a year must have old version

    not if you backed up your database and kept a copy of your wp-content folder as is recommended.

    Without looking at what you have is hard to help you did you try and rename the theme and see if your default theme opens as I posted above.
