[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Want sidebar widget rotating gallery

Hi I bet this has been answered but I have looked and drilled and looked again and have not found an answer, so here goes:

I want to create a slideshow of photos I have uploaded in a sidebar widget. I have not found clear instructions on how to accomplish this.

I don’t want it to use random photos from my blog, instead I’d like to create a folder (additional gallery?) for the photos used for this purpose. I’d also like to modify the frequency of the photo changes, for instance I’d like the photo to change once a day.

Is NextGen the right plugin for me and has this already been covered elsewhere or can you tell me how to accomplish my task. Thanks
