Hosting Transfer

There is a site that I now administer that I would like to transfer to a different hosting server which is an ULTIMATE Linux site I also administer at GoDaddy.

The site to be moved to a different server is…:

I can copy the files easily enough to the new directory where the domain will point to. However, I know I’ve also got to deal with the database associated with it.

Can anyone point to any really good reference/article that includes all the steps for moving both files and database?
