Hi Farlane,
The visual editor has never been one of my favorite features in WP (to say the least). I would recommend not to use it, and to use the html editing mode instead. If you use the “html” mode, beware that switching from “html” to “visual” and back to “html” again will mess up your html code.
Cheers!
It’s not an option as my client doesn’t have the skills to do it via HTML. Thanks.
I understand. What happens if you paste the entire html page from outside WP into the WP html editor, save the page, and go into visual mode? Do you get the same behavior? Do you get the same behavior in all browsers?
Also, are you able to see the full contents of the page on the site?
Since I don’t use the visual editor a lot, the only workaround I can think of is to disable the WP one and load a different WYSIWYG editor for your client to use. Something on the lines of this plugin might cut it, for instance.
That’s all I can think of.
Hi,
Where you able to figure this out? If so, could you please mark your topic as resolved?
Thanks!
Whoops. I did figure it out. It was a simple unclosed href.
