Next_Posts_Link Brings up Posts, but Layout is Broken

Hello, I just upgraded my WordPress install to the latest version and everything was working ok until I clicked on my next_posts_link navigation link. It brings up the next set of posts, but somehow the layout of the site is getting messed up on /page/2.

I’ve made sure the code in index.php is correct and permalinks are set to default now – everything seems to work fine throughout the site, just not on the second page of posts. What can be happening here?

I took a look at it with CSS Edit and I think somehow my content div which is vertically repeated with a background image is being effected. When I float it left, the background shows up, but then it’s left aligned which is not good.
