WP Update – Dashboard now unavailable

    Having updated WP from 2.something to 3, the dashboard on my site is now unavailable.

    I notice this topic cropped up a few times and was caused by plugins. I have renamed the plugs dir and it still didn’t allow access so has anyone got advice on another thing to try?

    Did you upgrade in a single step or via a series of smaller manual upgrades? Did you backup your database before you upgraded?
