I can’t edit my theme…

    There is no button that lets me edit my themes. When I go on my FTP(Core FTP), I go to my WP folder>>> and then when I click wp-content to try and chmod my files/folders, it gives me a popup and it says “The parameter is incorrect.” Can someone help me so that I can edit my theme?
