Custom Widget Drop Down Menu

    I have a Categories widget and selected to use a drop down menu. It has very neatly and efficiently inserted a drop down menu that works fine, but I was hoping to be able to customise that DD menu (eg: change colors, fonts, styles etc). Is this possible?
