[Plugin: Subscribe2] Cookies?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before but..

I’m thinking of using your plugin with another plugin that handles slide in panels. I wish to achieve the goal of having a slide out box ask the user to subscribe.

This other plugin relies on the presence of a cookie to determine whether or not to slide the panel out.

I was wondering if there is a way to have the Subscribe2 plugin create a cookie once a user has subscribed successfully?

Or any other suggestions as to how to achieve my goal?
